If you have a science degree such as a Bachelor of science (BSc), Masters or PhD then you can also take this course.

    Virginia Chachati, who has been a UK registered pharmacist with the GPhC since 2014. She graduated from UCL School of Pharmacy in 2013 with a Master of Pharmacy Degree. She has worked with brands such as the NHS, WHO, YouTube Health, Geeky Medics, The London Clinic, Big Health UK, ASDA Online Doctor, ZAVA Online Doctor and more! She started from zero as a medical writer in 2020 after moving from the UK to Germany (because her husband got a job there!)

We’ve designed this course to includes a collection of videos that you can watch at your own pace, and assignments you can do when you feel ready. Ask us questions at any time throughout the course - you can do this directly on each video by clicking "Discussion". We give you detailed feedback on your assignments and will help you as much as possible to succeed in preparing to become a medical writer.

    You will get a certificate after completing each course. Although the course is not a formal qualification, the content is based on real-life best practices of medical writing and the extensive experience of healthcare professionals Virginia. Everything in the course is tried and tested - and we add to the course to regularly update it!

    You will have access to the course after you finish it, as it is lifetime access. This also includes all updates to the course, and any new modules in future that are added to the course.

    We no longer have an exclusive community for the people who pay to join this course as the feedback we got was that it was not needed.

    The Medical Writer Directory used to be a page on www.writeclinic.com However, this has now been discontinued.

She also created Medical Writer Magazine and the Medical Writing Uncut podcast with over 50 episodes interviewing medical writers from all over the world. She creates health information for patients and the public as Pharmacist Virginia on YouTube and is an evidence checker for NHS.uk health information pages.
