I recommend the Medical Writing Starter Pack for people who want to work part-time or as a freelance medical writer. If you are looking for a full-time job, then I recommend the Ultimate Guide to Medical Writing bundle instead which includes a review of your CV, interview skills, and how to manage your finances.
Yes, I have had students that get work even before they finish the courses. However, each student is unique and some start with strong writing skills and experience already, so they may find work quicker. I recommend giving yourself at least 3 to 12 months to find your first client and sign a contract with them - even with 5 years of experience myself, it can take time to sign a contract (up to 6 months) because you need to negotiate your rate, and make sure you are confident you can complete the work to the expectations the client sets.
This course is created independently by me, Virginia Chachati, and does not reward points that contribute to any official university course. It is in the process of being accredited by the International Medical Writers Association (IMWA).
